Primary Four are researching all about World War 2
The children in school learn that we can use a wide variety of sources to learn about the past. P4 have been using Newsdesk to research facts about World War 2 . Using reliable sites is very important to ensure we get accurate information. Of course, we know that books too are a very good source of information. Talking to older relatives and visiting museums also helps us to learn about the past. Perhaps someone in your extended family was a very young child during the war. The Guided Reading lessons might all be over now this week, but it is great to listen in as the children read and discuss the facts and information which they are researching independently.
