P6 Visit to the Water Bus
This week, we had the exciting opportunity to visit the Water Bus, where we took part in a fun and educational session all about water!
During the visit, we learned about the water cycle—how water travels through the environment in a constant cycle of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. We also discovered how water is cleaned and treated to make it safe for us to drink and use every day.
A key part of the session focused on how we can all play a role in protecting our water supply. We were reminded of the importance of only flushing the 3 Ps down the toilet: pee, poo, and paper. This simple rule helps prevent blockages and pollution in our water systems.
Finally, we learned about the importance of clean water for our health, our environment, and our future. It was a brilliant visit that helped us understand just how valuable and vital water is—and how we can all help to look after it.
A big thank you to the Water Bus team for such an engaging and eye-opening experience!
