Our P6 pupils had a fantastic morning in Lisburn as they took part in an action-packed basketball tournament, showing off their impressive skills, teamwork, and determination.
Both our girls’ and boys’ teams gave it their all on the court. The girls played brilliantly throughout the tournament, displaying great technique and resilience. They narrowly missed out on a place in the final after a series of closely contested matches—but we are incredibly proud of their efforts!
The boys’ team stormed through their heats with energy and focus, earning a well-deserved spot in the final. The final match was a nail-biting showdown, with both teams neck and neck after the third quarter. The tension was high as the game went to extra time—next basket wins!
In a moment of pure sporting drama, our star player Dara Tucker rose to the occasion and scored the winning basket, sparking roars of celebration from his teammates and supporters. It was a moment to remember!
