P4 were off into their forest classroom today to find autumn fruits, autumn colours and Mother Nature’s treasures. They learned how to identify oak leaves and sycamore leaves and they can now identify the seeds of The Oak, Sycamore, Beech and Horse Chestnut trees. They met walkers, dog walkers and archers all using the forest for health and well being. They spotted environmental signs, dog litter bins and benches which all help us to enjoy the forest and to look after it well. Hopefully, they will grow to love and respect nature and to enjoy all the benefits it can give us.
