Outdoor learning with The Forest Schools’ Association
P4 had a wonderful session with Caoimhe from FSA. They decided and marked out their own boundaries and then carried out a very fun hide and seek activity based on Birds burying worms in the forest. There was a lot of teamwork, co-operation, problem solving and fun. They talked all about camouflage, predators, different bird breeds and how to respect our environment. They gave their own feedback and evaluated the session. I think they will definitely vote for more outdoor learning.
We also got to see and hear all about the P1s’ dens which they built in their session!
