Inspiring achievements
Our pupils never cease to inspire their peers and our staff with their kindness, their compassion and their desire to make the world a better place.
We have been thinking about people who embraced challenges in the pursuit of doing the right thing and making the world better as part of our reflection on All Saints day and there are examples of this very close to home.
Emily has had her phenomenal fundraising efforts for Marie Curie recognised at the Fundraising Excellence awards. She undertook a sponsored 'big hair cut', donating her tresses to the Little Princess Trust and delighted passers-by with her lemonade stand in order to raise vital funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Well done Emily, and thank you for inspiring us all to support those in need.
The spirit of St. Francis lives on in these acts of kindness.
