Getting ready for St. Brigid’s Day in P4.

Today P4 learned the story of St. Brigid and her cloak. Then they did some Maths problem solving to colour her cloak using a key. The boys and girls learned how St. Brigid used the rushes from the chieftain’s brát urláir to make a cross for him before he died. In the song about St. Brigid, we sing about how kind and generous Brigid was and how her feast day is said to herald the Spring.
