Big Schools’ Birdwatch in P4
P4 were very busy observing and recording the visitors to our bird café today. We have submitted our results to the RSPB and hope it helps to inform them about how our feathered friends are thriving. We love looking after our environment and being Eco Warriors. We made some discoveries. We didn’t see any gulls as our school is not near the sea! Our most popular visitors are from The Crow family as our school is beside a huge rookery. We didn’t attract any goldfinches as we didn’t put out Nyger seed (we hope to next week). We would love if lots of you would go onto the RSPB website and register to do The Big Garden Birdwatch at home, for one hour this weekend. Remember to just record the highest number of that species that you see at any one time.
