Board of Governors
Our Board of Governors are a team of volunteers who give of their time to undertake Governance of our school.
This involves meeting at least once per term, attending training on a range of issues - particularly relating to Safeguarding and Child Protection and ensuring the very best outcomes for learners through the 'support and challenge' role.
The Governors bring knowledge and skills from their own experiences to support the Principal and staff in ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning are strived for; they support the pupils by advocating for their best interests at every turn and will take critical decisions around management, staffing, resources and finance.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has played a role in Governance of St. Francis' PS Aghaderg since its establishment in 1995, and our current cohort of Governors continue to carry on their role with care and diligence.
If you are interested in becoming a Governor, please contact Mrs McKeown on smckeown803@c2kni.net to find out more about the role and add your name to the list of willing volunteers.
